Emma Versteeg is a soprano based in Glasgow. She has extensive experience as a performer of oratorio and has sung as soloist with many groups including Ashford Choral Society as part of the Stour Music Festival, Ayr Choral Union, Bishop's Stortford Choral Society, Edinburgh Symphony Baroque, Folkestone Choral Society, Oban Bach Choir, the Scottish Chamber Choir ,Thames Voyces, and Whitstable Choral Society.
She is a highly experienced choral singer and currently sings with the early music ensembles Cappella Nova and Ludus Baroque.
Emma performs regularly on the recital stage around the UK with a wide repertoire encompassing Lieder, French Song, early and contemporary English song, American Song and Scots Song. Recent venues include the Swiss Embassy in London and St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh. She is also an artist on the Music in Hospitals scheme and gives regular concerts in care homes and hospitals around Scotland.
